Bell’s Oberon will debut in 12-packs March 26; Amber Ale 12-packs will follow this summer
Oberon release day just got 12 times better.
On Monday (March 26), 12-packs of Bell’s Oberon Ale will be available along with six-packs and draft throughout Michigan.
Bell’s will continue to roll out Oberon 12-packs to other states Bell’s distributes to beginning in the northwest (Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Missouri and Arizona) followed by those in the southeast (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Washington DC and Pennsylvania) soon after. Specific dates will be announced soon.
“We are excited and thrilled to be able to offer this additional packaging option to our customers,” said Laura Bell, Marketing Director for Bell’s Brewery, Inc.
“We believe our customers will love the convenience and enjoy it twice as much as a six-pack.”
Bell’s year round flagship beer, Amber Ale, will also be available in 12-packs later this summer.
The addition of a 12-pack bottling line at Bell’s production facility in Comstock, Mich. is part of Bell’s latest major renovation and expansion project that will also add a new 200-barrel brewhouse as well as fourteen 400-barrel fermenters. The new brewery is expected to open in May.
Oberon Ale is Bell’s most popular seasonal offering and released annually in March, It is available through September in a majority of the 18 states (plus Puerto Rico and Washington DC) Bell’s distributes to. Oberon is available year round in Puerto Rico, Florida, Arizona and parts of southern Alabama.
Oberon mini-kegs will be released later this year as well. This year’s design features a photo taken on the shore of Lake Michigan in Ludington, Mich.
