Houndmouth wsg Legal Immigrants ($20adv/$23dos)
In the last four years, Houndmouth have learned what it means to be a band. On their second album, Little Neon Limelight, they wear that wisdom like a badge of honor. Less than a half-decade ago in the small Indiana city of New Albany, four pals were crafting tunes on their own, with few ambitions of turning those songs into a spectacle. That all changed when these friends crossed paths, and joined forces. Matt Myers, Shane Cody, Katie Toupin, and Zak Appleby became the drums and keys, guitars and harmonies of Houndmouth, and those personal numbers became the irrepressible core of an outfit turned magnetic.

May Erlewine ($10-Seated Show)
May Erlewine comes from a family of artists and musicians. Early on she was exposed to music (and people) of all kinds. May was home-educated, came up singing and while still just a teenager hitchhiked all across North America playing her music, riding freight trains and busking on the streets. In her travels, May came to know the land and the pulse of the people. Her songwriting is treasured and her music connects authentically with everyday folk. The sounds and influences you'll hear in her music range from good old fashioned folksongs and country swing to soul singers, rock and music from all over the wide world. It's bundled together with stories and melodies to take you on a journey of the heart.

Eccentric Day
Our annual, “come as you aren’t” party is back again! This year we’re shaking it up a bit with DJ Bowser from WIDR who will be spinning during the day, Babylon Sneakers (a Steely Dan tribute band) taking us through happy hour and then a three DJ group called Analog Ancestry rounding the night out. Regular restaurant seating and service will not be offered as we will be providing a wide variety of very eccentric food items all day in a buffet style. The best part is that all the food is free! If the free grub and dancin’ beats aren’t enough, last year we had a rotation of over 60 beers. So come and let your alter ego out and have a great time! Must be 21 or older all day and night for admittance to the Eccentric Cafe. NO ADMITTANCE WITHOUT ALTER EGO.

Small Brown Bike wsg BoneHawk, The Reptilian ($15)
SMALL BROWN BIKE was founded in 1997 by four friends in the small town of Marshall,Michigan. Through the late 1990’s the band played endless shows from basements to venues andreleased two, well-received 7-inches, No Place Like You and (And Don’t Forget Me). In 1999, the band united with No Idea Records to release their debut album, Our Own Wars and immediately began touring to support the record. In 2000, they landed an opening spot on tour with Hot Water Music and Saves the Day, p laying in front of their biggest audiences yet. Later that year, Small Brown Bike entered the studio with Ed Rose (The Get Up Kids, Coalesce) to record their sophomore album for No Idea, Dead Reckoning. Released to international acclaim, the album was instantly hailed as a "powerful and enormous" leap forward. Kerrang Magazine gave the album 5 stars and said it had “an unrivaled depth of emotion...real emotion, real musicianship, real creativity, real depth and real passion.” The band continued their relentless live schedule and played tours with Hot Water Music, Leatherface, Cursive, Sparta, Cave In, The Casket Lottery, Rocky Votolato, and many more. It was during this time that Small Brown Bike caught the attention of Lookout! Records. After playing a sold-out show at Gilman Street in 2003, the band signed with Lookout! to release theirthird album, The River Bed. But the years of touring were taking their toll and Small Brown Bike sadly announced their break-up at the end of 2003. In 2006, the band reunited to play a handful of shows and in 2009, officially announced theirplan to write new music and play more shows. In the summer of 2010, Small Brown Bike joined forces with J Robbins (Jets to Brazil, The Promise Ring) and recorded their fourth album, Fell & Found, released on No Idea Records in 2011. An album that AV Club said made Small Brown Bike “one of the best purveyors of this sound.”
