Holiday Hours: The Eccentric Cafe and General Store will be closed on Memorial Day.

CafeMainPhoto.jpg

Located in beautiful downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Eccentric Café, located next to the Bell's General Store, is home to a unique offering of craft beer, live music, entertainment, delicious food and more.

Any given time, we have about 30-40 different beers on tap. Many are exclusive to the Cafe and are brewed right next door at our original brewery - just look for the flying eccentric guy next to the beer names on the Draft Board when you visit.

Take some time to look around. We hope to see you soon.

Beer to go: The Bell's General Store, located right next door to the Cafe, now features a Growler Station with up to four options. Empty growlers are $18 and currently, we are only able to fill Bell's growlers (we will fill most other vessels soon though). There is also the Eccentric Cafe only 750ML bottle series, not to mention beer by the bottle, six-pack and case.

Firkins: Stop by and see what's on the beer engine.

Bike locks: Need to borrow one? Check with the bartender.

Wi-Fi: It's free. Check the Draft Board for the password

SOLD OUT - Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers ($30adv/$35 day of)
This show is in the Bell's Beer Garden. Rain or shine. Almost three decades after winning a Grammy for Best New Artist and launching one of contemporary music’s most diverse careers, Bruce Hornsby still makes joyful noise as he discovers clever and expansive ways to chronicle dynamic musical snapshots of his often generously collaborative journey. Nothing better illustrates this than Hornsby’s communion with his longtime band, the Noisemakers. And nothing catches that connection with more daring fluency than a couple of live collections released eleven years apart; 2011’s Bride of the Noisemakers, a set of concert recordings from 2007 to 2009, and 2000‘s Here Come the Noisemakers, which initially unveiled Hornsby and his band’s free-wheeling live approaches to the Virginia-born pianist and composer’s memorable songs. Tapping into many of the genres that have influenced Hornsby’s music over the years—pop, jazz, bluegrass, country and modern classical—these collections feature songs from previous releases such as Big Swing Face (2002), Halcyon Days (2004), and Levitate (2009) -- as well as from Camp Meeting (2007), which featured bassist Christian McBride and drummer Jack DeJohnette, plus Hornsby’s acclaimed early releases such as Scenes From The Southside (1988), Hothouse (1995), and Spirit Trail (1998).

Kaitlin Rose Album Release wsg The Hired Hands ($5)
Long time Kalamazoo musician and singer-songwriter, Kaitlin Rose, is releasing her much anticipated new full-length album, The Other Side. Since writing the album, Kaitlin has performed the material nearly non-stop and prayed for the "just right," musicians to accompany her. Well, the magic happened and she has assembled one heck of a band, transforming her coffee shop folk sound into a fusion of eclectic and acoustic with country, blues and good 'ole rock and roll. Kalamazoo roots act The Hired Hands support.
