We're heading to the Electric Forest Festival in Rothbury, here is where you will find Bell's

Josh Smith | Bell's Brewery

HollingsworthElectricForestFestival.jpgWe’re heading to Electric Forest again this year and hosting two special tastings.

The first is with Kyle Hollingsworth of String Cheese Incident and will feature guest brewers and musicians along with beer samples. It will be on Friday (June 28) at 3:45 p.m. at the Obervatory Bar (look for Brewru on your map/schedule).

The second event will be on Saturday at the Forest Stage Bar. Debs’ Red and Wedding Ale will be on tap from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

We’re also hosting a scavenger hunt on Twitter. All you have to do to participate is tweet us 1 photo of something #eccentric, #green (the sustainable type) or #bells related (don’t forget to mention us so we can see it) at the festival. Then come to Saturdays tasting to claim your free schwag. (You must claim your prize during the tasting and only one piece of schwag per person).

If that wasn’t enough, Oberon and Two Hearted will also be available at every bar at the festival.

See you in the Forest – Cheers!

Two Bell's beers ranked top in the nation by Zymurgy readers

Josh Smith | Bell's Brewery

photo1.JPGOnce again, the readers of Zymurgy, the magazine from the American Homebrewers Association, voted Two Hearted one of the top two best beers in America.

This is the fourth year in a row Two Hearted has taken the No. 2 spot as part of the 11th annual Best Beers in America issue.

Hopslam is also on the list at No. 4.

One reader called Two Hearted “a symphony of Centennial hops” while another referred to it as her “go-to for hop happiness.”

Thank you to everyone – we are truly honored.

The July/August 2013 issue will be available at the Bell’s General Store.

You can also take a look at the full list, as well as other categories like Best Portfolio (Bell’s is No. 6) and overall Brewery Rankings (No. 6 again) here.
