If you catch our Brewmaster Andy Farrell out and about enjoying a beer, it’s probably a Hazy...
Today, we’re honoring International Transgender Day of Visibility and everyone who lives as their authentic self and respectfully acknowledge those who cannot.
Our brewery and Eccentric CafĂ© are open to all. We strive to be a space that’s safe and inclusive, however you identify along with those who you love.
It’s important for all of us to pay attention to what’s happening to our friends and neighbors in the trans community, and how we can support them to enable everyone the right to live as they are.
Here are some important resources:
- Here at Bell’s, we’re directing resources to organizations like OutFront Kalamazoo and Equality Michiganwho are doing important work in our community. Reach out to organizations serving the LGBTQ+ community in your area to support work where you live.
- Education: GLAAD has a great list of resources for allies, including an FAQ and tips to support. The Human Rights Campaign also has information about International Transgender Day of Visibility.
- Advocate: The ACLU has a great tool on their website that tracks legislation which aims to attack the LGBTQ+ community in State Legislatures across the country.
Bell’s is #OpentoAll. That means we welcome everyone—every race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, immigration status, religion, or disability. We’ve invested in a robust DEI strategy to build towards greater inclusivity and equity in our company, our communities, and the craft beer industry more broadly. For more info, visit our Celebrate Diversity page.
