This recipe uses the traditional combination of pilsner malt, rice and corn adjuncts. It is light-bodied, refreshing and thirst quenching. A very easy recipe to brew and an excellent entry to craft brewing.
This is a favorite with my friends and neighbors. Don't expect this to taste like your everyday light beer - it has a full body and wonderful flavor. Use this beer to introduce your friends to the advantages of home brewing. It's a straight forward beer to brew.
American Light Review

This is a great beer for the beginning brewer or an experienced brewer who needs to brew some beer for his friends cause we all know that everyone is addicted to the light beer epidemic. But i wouldn't consider it a die hard light beer the aroma hops and the pilsen DME give it surprisingly great flavor for a well balanced pilsner. each glass i poured had a thick foamy head. i fermented in primary for 2 weeks and 2 weeks in the secondary and this beer was fully fermented out. 2 more weeks in a bottle and was ready to go.
