It's the dog days of summer and the perfect time to enjoy light, refreshing drinks. There's...
There are many challenges facing our planet. On this Earth Day, we want to highlight a particularly important resource to us all: Clean water is vital, not just for the beer we brew, but to sustain the lives we all lead.
We know this firsthand: our home state of Michigan is surrounded by the largest bodies of fresh water in the world. Also, one of the largest inland oil spills in American history spread to our back yard. We saw firsthand the potential hazards and devastation of human-made ecological disasters. Regrettably similar hazards persist, such as the Line 5 pipeline in Northern Michigan’s Straits of Mackinac, which connects our Great Lakes.
It’s our responsibility to support organizations and legislation that focus on clean water stewardship. Today, let’s take a moment to appreciate all the work that’s being done to protect our water and find new ways to help.
